I installed a bulb in a ceiling fan. The lamp has four arms and the manual says that each arm can handle up to 60 watts. The lamp is connected to the metal ceiling fan. And I have four 60-watt bulbs in Buls. Thus, the overall performance of 240 Watts. One day, my wife says it smells like burning in some tissues and a ceiling fan. The smell could be from another source. But I wonder if 240 watts is too big for a fan who knows what kind of problem? I see some of that lamp power is 150Watt max, and some say 60Watts. How do you determine that?

I did it again and again. It is likely that the lamp from one place to buy discount, is not it? They are rated at 60 watts, but the sockets that are installed, not maintained.
